  I went to Dr. Wheeler to have my two left wisdom teeth removed. The pain started on a Friday, because they weren't coming in right, and was so bad I couldn't hardly open my mouth to eat or chew. I suffered with the pain for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (holiday). I called Dr. Wheeler's office Tuesday morning and the receptionist was very understanding, asked questions to better prepare for what I needed, gave me an estimate of the cost, and was able to schedule me an appointment for that SAME day. I arrived 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I was called back right away. The assistants were extremely nice and the facility was clean and quiet. I was given an x-ray before being showed to the room. I was hooked up to blood pressure and pulse/O2 monitors. I was given an IV, which was inserted correctly the first time (no misses or blown veins). I was given a sedative, met Dr. Wheeler, and was out like a light. I WAS aware at one point of what was happening, but I wasn't in pain. The whole procedure took about an hour. I was helped out to my ride by one of the assistants. My face was uncomfortably numb and part of my lips are raw. But the numbness wore off and Blistex has helped with my lips. Dr. Wheeler even called me back that evening to make sure I was doing okay, gave me further instructions, and told me to call back any time. My overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend him and his office as a place of safe, comfortable, and clean oral surgery. I actually look forward to going back soon and getting my remaining two wisdom teeth removed by him.
